Four Ukrainian forces are killed as government troops press ahead with their full-scale military operation against pro-Russian forces in the east.
Three military personnel were killed in pro-Russian militias' attacks on government vehicles and checkpoints. One border guard was also gunned down when the Novazovsk crossing point came under pro-Russians' attack. This, as Ukrainian forces have carried out over a hundred attacks against pro-Russian forces in the last 24 hours, and took control of three villages. French and German counterparts in Berlin later on Wednesday to find a solution to Ukraine's crisis. The country's 10-day ceasefire ended on Monday evening, with President Petro Poroshenko saying criminal elements had thwarted the chance for peace.
