Moscow's TV family says goodbye to Klyan

The funeral has taken place in Moscow of veteran news cameraman Anatoly Klyan, killed in Ukraine.
President Putin has awarded a posthumous Order of Courage to the man who had previously worked in many trouble spots, spending 40 of his 68 years with the state broadcaster. He is the third journalist working for Russian TV to die in the crisis.
Channel One emptied its main Moscow studio to use it for a lying-in-state.
“He worked in so many hot spots. He replaced our two colleagues in Yugoslavia who went missing, he worked in Iraq, in Syria, and he always came back safe and sound,” said Channel One’s Director-General Konstantin Ernst.
Klyan was reportedly on a bus with civilian protesters that was driven at night towards a Ukrainian military base previously under repeated attack. He is alleged to have been shot after leaving the vehicle.
Channel One says the bus came under attack from Ukrainian army forces.
