The idea of having a trailer that can be taken to water had always excited us. But now it has become a reality! Thanks to German-based industrial designer Daniel Straub for giving us an amphibious trailer called "Sealander". The six-person trailer is quite comfortable when driven on roads, and reacts suitably when taken to water. However, a 5 hp electric motor which doubles as a source of energy for on-board devices does the job in water dutifully. Let's be affirmative, the Sealander is more of a fishing vessel in calm water rather than a yacht or a speedboat that can do miles and miles with great zest in ocean.
Inside the Sealander, the German designer had coupled up various facilities that include large bed, cooking and washing module, cooler, heater, toilet and sound system. So now, long tours will not be a hassle anyways. Even the friends with different thoughts at a same time like 'camping and fishing' can successfully thrive with it.
