Hero Cat Tara Saves Child From A Vicious Dog Attack

The child was riding a tricycle near his house in California, when he was suddenly attacked by a neighbour's dog, which bit his leg and tried to pull him off the bike.
At almost the same time the family cat lept into action jumping on the dog and chasing it off, before it could inflict any further injuries on the boy.
The child sustain various bite marks, which required stitches, but his father Roger Triantafilo, who posted the video on YouTube said, "thankfully, my son is fine!"
The eight-month-old Labrador-Chow mix dog, has reportedly been surrendered by its owners to police in Bakersfield. It was put in quarantine after the attack on Tuesday and will be destroyed.
The cat has since been honoured at a minor league baseball game.
