Dunya News - Lahore police pressurise doctors to change medical reports of PAT workers

Punjab Police officers are trying to temper with the medical reports of those Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers who injured in the Model Town incident, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

According to details, the police officers have tried to pressurize the doctors to change repots of those who received bullet injuries during the clash.

The police officers were seen in the office of Medical Superintendent (MQM) of Jinnah Hospital, however they left when they saw media men reaching there and covering their presence.

Taking notice of the incident of tempering with the medical reports, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif summoned report from Secretary Health and police authorities.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Punjab CM on Tuesday night took the notice of Model Town incident and ordered to remove Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Shafiq Gujjar, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Rana Abdul Jabbar and Superintendent of Police Model Town division Tariq Aziz from their posts and made them OSD.
