Clashes erupt in search for Israeli missing teens
  • 10 years ago
Israeli troops march through the streets of Hebron.

They're scouring the West Bank in search of three Israeli teenagers who went missing on June 12, in what Israel calls an abduction by the Hamas Islamist group.

So far, no trace of the missing teens.

They were last spotted near a Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank.

The teens -- one of whom also holds American citizenship -- were apparently hitchhiking when they disappeared.

The mom of missing teenager Naftali Fraenkel offered a message of strength.

"We just wish to hug our children home, Naftali, Eyal, Gil-Ad, we love you, we miss you, please be strong, hold on, be strong. We love you, we want to hug you again."

But their disappearance hasn't deterred other hitchhikers.

They say they have no other means of transportation.
