Adelaide Hall~Creole Love Call~1927~w/Duke Ellington

A certain DM contributor has declared Tuesdays to be Tango Tuesdays. I would like to declare Saturdays as Southern Saturdays and all weekend as Lazy Louisiana Weekends.
This vid is a tribute to the Louisiana Creole People~those who descended from the French and Spanish colonial settlers in old Louisiana.
Creole Love Call was recorded October 26, 1927 in Camden, New Jersey and was released on the Victor Talking Machine Co label V24861. Adelaide Hall is accompanied by Duke Ellington's Orchestra as she sings her unusual rhythm with no words, a style later known as scat and further popularized by Louis Armstrong. Addie was born in Brooklyn in 1901 and died in London in 1993. She had lived in London since 1938, having been as popular in London as Josephine Baker had been in Paris.
