One Etsy seller is offering human souls for a price of $15 plus a $5 shipping charge.
One Etsy seller is offering human souls for a price of $15 plus a $5 shipping charge. These aren’t just any spirits though. They, according to the descriptions, belong to celebrities.
Molly "The Happy Reaper" Gates is the seller of the jarred souls. Her Etsy store, SoulsRUs features the spiritual beings of Ryan Gosling, Matthew McConaughey, Drake and Jennifer Lawrence.
Gates also sells a special made to order soul. It can belong to a celebrity, friend, neighbor or nemesis. There is an exception to the custom spirits however. Gates says she won’t be bottling Kanye West’s soul, as she tried that before and evidently it didn’t work out too well.
Another soul she isn’t too fond of reaping is Justin Bieber's. She claimed to have sold his soul for half her asking price at $7.62 because ‘she wanted him out of her house’.
Gates admits the contents of the jar include synthetic spider-webbing that is spray painted and sprinkled with glitter. She started the spirit business when she was a student at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Now it serves as more of a hobby while she earns a living as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.
