Dating tip #47: It's 2013, online dating is not weird anymore. Time to let some of those old taboos go and embrace the world outside your apartment.

This is dating in the 21st century: you meet a seemingly nice guy on the internet and go on a few dates with him before he goes in for the kill. No, we're not referring to all of the crazy ninja weapons this dude has. We're talking about whether or not Ryan gets his dotcom dame into bed! To help heat things up, chef Brad Miller shows Ryan how to make the most tender steak ever. The recipe calls for a sirloin cap steak that has been vacuum packed and marinated overnight in molasses, balsamic vinegar, ginger and chili flakes and then cooked sous vide using a thermal immersion circulator. Sounds complicated but you can actually put a steak in a Ziploc bag, submerge it in water to get the air out, and then cook that in a pot of water over medium-low heat. The steak is accompanied by new potatoes cooked in rich, yummy duck fat and a medley of spring vegetables like asparagus. Will the lovely Alex be wooed by the delicious food or will Ryan's awkward admissions ruin the night?

What did you think of the meal? Or of Ryan's stumbling performance? Was it sweet or too awkward? Would you go back to his apartment after seeing his wall of weapons? Would you be impressed if your boyfriend/girlfriend invited you over for a meal and surprised you with a little extra effort? Let us know in the comments below!!

What's sweeter than dessert after dinner? A boot-knocking, body-rocking hookup! They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, but we find out in Cook Up a Hook Up that's true for women as well. Who wouldn't fall for a guy that has the Executive Chef of Inn of the Seventh Ray, one of the country's most romantic restaurants, prepare a gourmet meal just for you? Brad Miller saves the day, not only with his skills in the kitchen but also with his brash, raw sense of humor, giving these daters a much-needed reality check! Tube in to get a stomach boner every Monday!
