Just before concluding his address, he slammed Jang/Geo owner Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman saying that he separates ‘honest journalists’ from Mir Shakil.
Imran Khan termed Mir Shakil as ‘pharaoh in Dubai’ and alleged that Shakil blackmails everyone for the same of money making.
“This is the same Mir Shakil who blackmailed DG ISI. When I objected it, he blackmailed me, he published ads about me worth billion rupees. Thank you Mir Shakil for giving me free publicity,” he said.
“Mir Shakil you should seek forgiveness from people of Pakistan. What you’re doing to the people of Pakistan for the sake of money, you should seek forgiveness.”
