Man Catches Insanely Large 300-Pound Grouper
  • 10 years ago
Cullen Greer was fishing 35 miles off the coast of Louisiana in the Mississippi delta, when he felt a tug on his hand crank rod. Well, after a 30 minute struggle, imagine his surprise when he pulled out a Warsaw Grouper that was larger than him. Cullen's catch flopped in at six-foot six-inches tall and weighed 297 pounds. Amazingly, Cullen's giant Warsaw Grouper is still only the third largest of its species ever caught on a hand crank line in Louisiana, and is only the fifth largest ever caught overall. But still...this thing is huge! If you'd like to chime in on Twitter, use the hashtag SuperGrouper.
