More used to performing herself, Selena Gomez was the one being serenaded in Nepal recently.

The pop star was visiting at risk children in the country as part of her UNICEF Ambassador role.

Children at the UNICEF-supported Satbariya Rapti Secondary School sang Nepali folk songs and performed traditional dances of the Tharu community in front of Gomez.

The singer also visited Gangaparaspur Village and learned how the Female Community Health Volunteers are trying to reduce mortality rates in children and mothers, as well as efforts to improve sanitation and hygiene in local communities.

The American star has been a UNICEF Ambassador since 2009.
