Swimming pool electrocution: Children nearly killed by bad electrical wiring in Florida pool

What should have been a fun afternoon in the pool for these families in Florida nearly turned deadly for three kids, save for the quick thinking of adults nearby, as newly-released security camera footage shows.
It was at the Palm West condos in Hialeah, April 27. No one could have known what was about to happen, least of all the 6-year-old girl shown in the video.
The pool pump had not been electrically grounded correctly. The water had become electrified turning the metal railing into an electrical trap. The child grabbed the rail and her head is thrown back. Her body frozen with shock, she's unable to release her grip.
The man on the steps realized something was very wrong and sprang into action, pulling the child free, but not before receiving a shock himself.
There is dark patch in the water. It's another girl, floating motionless. Just in time another man noticed the child and rescued her from the pool
The two girls and another boy all were rushed to hospital, one of them unconscious. Narrowly, they all survived.
Condo residents say they'll now conduct a thorough review of all the building's electricals.
