The South African Olympic and Paralympic track star, Oscar Pistorius, has been ordered to take 30 days of psychiatric tests over the death of his girlfriend.

As an outpatient, he must undergo the exams to help determine if he was criminally responsible. His case will be postponed until June 30.

The Olympic star faces a life jail sentence if he is found guilty of murdering his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, who he shot and killed at his high security home in Pretoria on Valentine’s Day last year.
