A North Carolina woman was arrested for improper use of 911 after calling about a problem with the sauce on her sandwich, Thursday evening.
Bevalente Michette Hall ordered a "flatizza" from the Subway on Cox Road in Gastonia. She complained to employees that she didn't like the sauce on the, pizza-like, flatizza and demanded a refund.
After employees refused to give her a refund or exchange the item for another sandwich, Hall called 911 and asked that an officer come to the restaurant.
"It's terrible, and I got my receipt," Hall said to the 911 dispatcher. "And I told them I can't eat that kind of sauce."
An officer arrived, not to arrest the employees, but serve up a justice sandwich to Ms. Hall for improper use of 911. Hall was locked up for a total of 3 minutes and then released on a $2,000 unsecured bond.
