Imran Rejected To Romance Alia In 2 States For Anushka In Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola?

Imran Khan turned down the super-hit movie 2 States for Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola due to clash of schedule. Ouch! Now that must have hurt, especially when 2 States is inching closely towards the 100-crore mark.
Well if reports are to be believed true then Imran was earlier roped in to play the role of the Punjabi boy which later landed in Arjun Kapoor's kitty. The reason to reject the role of Krish is stated to be a clash in dates. Imran had to choose between Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola and 2 states, out of which Imran went ahead with the former.
Now Chetan Bhagat's adaptation film is touted to be as one of the biggest movies of this year, whereas Vishal Bhardwaj's film is touted to be as one of the biggest disappointment of the past year.
Well, it was indeed a difficult choice for Imran between Vishal Bhardwaj and Dharma Production. But one can always learn from his mistakes... Hai na?
