i love michael, but wait a minute...

i'm no longer going to utilize energy on people or things having to do with michael, if i don't see any respect for what i see as the teachings. if this includes the executors OR the rest of his family (or even some of the fan base), so be it. i'm not here for drama or negativity. if people dislike me simply for this point of view, that's their prerogative. there are so many things to do in life than to focus on whether or not i'm part of someone's 'cool club'.

i can only go by what i see people writing and saying; but it's as if people treat a man who's been gone for five years better than they treat people in their own families, or others in their presence- people they could be doing some real-life work with. how is it that one can have a competition in how much they love michael, and actually say they're honoring him? the key is in respecting all points of view.

i don't agree at all with what the executors are doing (and i'd love to see someone else who is an activist for justice take over); however, no matter how many remixes they destroy, no matter how many fake albums they release; this STILL will not take away the work michael did in this world. it does not take away his legacy. the executors are doing their job, just as martin bashir did. their role is to exploit the teachings (without actually acknowledging them), and far too many of us are giving them attention. uttering their name still brings energy to them.

there are so many things going on in the world that deserve attention, and yet so many of us choose to focus on arguing over whether or not someone loves a specific celebrity; who was ultimately a man doing his job, working to feed his kids (and it helped that what he did served a larger purpose, outside of 'entertainment'). this is something so many of us around the world do, and don't get credit for.
