New Rob Ford crack video: images prompt Toronto mayor to take leave and enter rehab

Toronto mayor Rob Ford is taking leave from his campaign and mayoral duties after images were posted to various news websites Wednesday showing the mayor with a crack pipe in hand.
Reporters from Gawker and The Globe and Mail were offered a chance to buy the video from a drug-dealer who was identified as "Jermaine." The dealer claimed that he sold Ford the crack cocaine and filmed the video in Ford's sister's basement at 1:15 a.m. Saturday.
The dealer was asking for a six figure amount from the reporters for the video, none of which were willing to cough up the money. They were given some still images from the video and were allowed to watch it in it's entirety.
The Globe and Mail reporters said the video showed Ford taking a drag from the pipe, exhaling a cloud of smoke, then frantically shaking his right hand. Also in attendance were Ford's sister Kathy and Alessandro Lisi.
Also in the news leading up to Ford's leave of absence was audio of Ford's drunken ran obtained by the Toronto Star. In reference to Toronto mayoral candidate, Karen Stintz, "I'd like to f-----g jam her," he said.
