    The wonut has become an instant hit with foodies in the city of Chicago, with demand far exceeding the twelve dozen that are made daily at each Waffles Café locations.

    A customer from Tennessee offered Hernandez a hundred dollars to make another batch after hearing they had sold out.

    The wonut craze has already reached an international level with internet posts about the food, and offers for Hernandez to franchise the wonuts to be sold in other stores.

    In the mean time, Hernandez is considering hiring extra staff to keep up with demand, and even doing an internet promotion for one dollar wonuts as a special limited time offer.
