Possession of firearms in the UK is illegal, yet you can still obtain them. It costs a lot more and you wont be buying it on a credit card. You'll have to hide it, anyone who sees it will likely report you to the authorities.
Why do you need guns when only the criminals have them? Isn't that why we have police with guns?

"You're exactly right my friend. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. This had nothing to do with guns at all" - How naive are you? I live in England, if there were guns we'd probably have our own Columbine and Virginia Tech incidents. The difference is that whilst this Korean has used a gun to show his anger at presumably not fitting in, people in other countries don't have this option. Obtaining a gun illegally raises questions and inevitable suspision. A korean student is unlikely to be able to obtain a gun illegaly if hes not fitting in. He'd need contacts etc. In America though, like you say guns are easily available legally and illegally. I do agree that taking away guns won't solve the problems of a students anger and his likeliness to strike out against others, but surely it'd be better were he to strike out with a fist than a gun!! Respect people more..its not hard.
