The surprise casting of Meg Ryan in the HIMYM spinoff as "Future Sally" has given viewers another colossal Aha! moment: The creators are totally doing When Harry Met Sally mixed with Sleepless in Seattle! Its fairly certain that executive producers Craig Thomas and Carter Bays have decided to get their Frankenstein on and blend all three movies together to make TV's greatest romantic comedy of all-time. Meg Ryan's casting as "Future Sally," the older version of Greta Gerwig's character on How I Met Your Dad, is just the first clue.
E-commerce giant Amazon.com has kicked off 2014 on a strong note: a day after announcing a buzzy content licensing deal with HBO, the company reported better-than-expected first quarter earnings results. Amazon reported $19.74 billion in first quarter revenue, a figure that beats the Street consensus of $19.4 billion and is 23% higher than the $16.07 billion reported during the same time in 2013. First quarter net income came in at $108 million, resulting in earnings of 23 cents per share, a penny above what analysts were predicting.
Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra are still quite close. The exes, who were married from 2003 to 2006, reunited on the red carpet before the 6th Annual Revolver Golden Gods award show in L.A. The Ink Master judge posted a picture of himself touching tongues with Electra on Twitter and wrote, "May get lucky with this one tonight!" Perhaps the former flames were just having a little fun with fans. After all, Electra was recently linked to clothing line owner Tal Cooperman. When the spouses called it quits eight years ago, the Jane's Addiction guitarist vowed they would remain friends. It appears the two did just that at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards.
