Earlier this week, Avril Lavigne released the music video for "Hello Kitty." Many called the hyper-colorful, Japan-set video ridiculous. Others called it out-and-out racist. Lavigne's claiming that the video cannot be racist since it was filmed in Japan, using real Japanese people. Lavigne's defense rests on the fact that the video is made as a love letter to her Japanese fans.
Justin Timberlake recently joined a group of 25 people for a night out at the Crystal Cologne club in Cologne, Germany where he performed a pair of concerts for The 20/20 Experience World Tour on Sunday and Tuesday! Ach du lieber! Although Justin was invited to get free drinks there, he left a tip over $4,000 for a group of waitresses working there. Justin apparently stayed until 4:30 a.m.. According to one of the waitresses it was pretty shocking. She said,"We were all really amazed."
Katy Perry usually never disappoints with her videos, and it looks like her latest for "Birthday" delivers as well. In this video we see Katy dressing up in disguises as various characters that help make up for some of the worst birthday parties of all-time. She eventually turned it up with her Prism -track serving as the soundtrack for the horrible birthday festivities, but we do have to admit, Katy pulls off the old stripper look quite nicely.
Miley Cyrus has finally left the hospital! hospitalized more than a week ago for an "absolutely horrible reaction" to medication to treat the flu, the 21-year-old pop star has finally been released from her hospital bed, E! News confirms. "She is feeling much better and Europe [tour] is still on," a source close to the "Wrecking Ball" singer tells E!. In total, Miley has 18 concerts across the pond.
