A new survey shows welfare cuts have pushed Britain's poorest families further into poverty.
Based on the report by Oxfam and the New Policy Institute, about one-point-75 million of the poorest families are struggling to cover food and energy bills as they've seen an absolute cut in their income in the past three years. The report shows that 300-thousand households have experienced a cut in housing benefit. It also highlights a drop in the overall value of benefits, saying jobseekers, single parents and those with disabilities were affected the most by the cuts.
