STORY: After 25 years Sting and Trudie Style are just as passionate about protecting the world's rainforest as ever.

The couple hosted their annual Rainforest Benefit Fund concert in New York on Thursday (April 18) with help from movie, music and political stars.

"Since we've began we're raised approximately 35 million dollars to protect the rainforest. And it's from here in the U.S. in New York City, indeed from this very room at Carnegie Hall that the vast majority of that has been raised," said Style.

The 2 hour concert kicked off with a duet between the veteran singer and actor Kevin Spacey. The "House of Cards" actor then went solo for a performance of "That's Life."

Sting, who served as performer and emcee for the night, treated the audience to two of his classic hits.

Singer and longtime friend of Sting, James Taylor, made his 23rd appearance at the show.
