Perverts are getting crafty with spy cams in Japan

Peeping toms in Japan are very crafty and commonplace across Japan. Sales of "spy cams" are on the rise there, and you can bet wherever technology meets perversion, there's probably going to be misuse.
Shusaku Kato, a 40-year-old beauty salon manager was arrested this past Thursday for harassing a female customer and sneaking camera shots of her by using a small camera mounted in his glasses. After the victim reported the incident to the police, other cases of indecent filming using miniature cameras hidden in objects became exposed. Police discovered other hidden cameras in clocks at the suspect's home and beauty salon and seized them.
In another case, Takashi Asahi, a 45-year-old clerk in the Saitama District Public Prosecutors' Office just outside Tokyo, was caught this past Thursday on suspicion of sneaking upskirt shots of a female high school student. The suspect installed a small hidden camera in his shoe. Riding the JR Mushashino line in Saitama, he approached the victim and planted his foot just underneath where she was standing in order to secretly film the goods.
