Russia's foreign minister says a deal has been made with Ukraine, the US and the European Union to de-escalate tensions in the former Soviet republic.
Sergei Lavrov made the comment at a press conference in the Swiss city of Geneva. He said all parties agreed to work towards establishing a national dialog respecting the rights of all citizens. Russia's top diplomat said the agreement also included disbanding illegal armed groups in all regions of Ukraine. He also condemned Ukraine's entry ban on Russian citizens, calling it humiliating. This, after the Russian airlines, Aeroflot said it was informed by Ukrainian authorities that Russian men between the ages of 16 and 60 cannot enter the country, unless they have proof of a reason to visit.
