In Syria, one hundred militants have turned themselves in to government authorities.
The insurgents are from two areas in Damascus countryside. They've also submitted their weapons to the Syrian army. Officials say those who did not commit crimes will be set free after promising not to carry arms again, or carry out any act to destabilize the security of the country. Meanwhile, Syrian troops have discovered twelve explosive charges in a deserted farm near a highway in Homs countryside. This comes as the army has been making more advances in its fight against foreign-backed insurgents in recent months.
