Bear attacks Lake Mary, Florida woman Terri Frana, drags her out of her garage

A Lake Mary, Florida woman miraculously survived being dragged out of her garage and across her driveway by a 200-pound black bear late this past weekend.
The woman, identified by authorities as Terri Frana, reportedly saw two black bears sifting through garbage just in front of her garage Saturday evening. She rushed to the area to make sure her 11-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter, who had been playing outside, were safe.
Frana reportedly next saw three more bears rummaging through the trash, before her husband Frank Frana says, one of the beasts stood up on its hind legs and began attacking her.
The black bear clenched Frana's head between its massive jaws and attempted to drag her towards the surrounding wooded area. Frana luckily managed to free herself and fled back into her house.
Her injuries, which included claw marks and lacerations on her shoulders, thigh, and back, reportedly left her requiring 30 staples and 10 stitches to her head. Fortunately, however, they don't appear to have been too serious as the mother of four was released from the South Seminole Hospital at 1:30AM on Sunday.
Florida wildlife authorities say that while they can confirm one bear was involved in the attack, they cannot corroborate that five bears were present as Frana claims.
