Emperor Qin's lavish buildings projects and iron rule caused so much unrest with the peasants that they staged an uprising and overthrew his Dynasty. The irony is they seized the weapons left in the tomb that were intended to protect him in the afterlife. The Han dynasty that came to power would rule China for the next 400 years.
