Fresh clashes break out between Venezuelan troops and anti-government protesters in the capital Caracas.
National Guard troops fired tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse hundreds of demonstrators in the eastern part of the city. The protesters are angered by the on-going talks between the opposition and the government of President Nicolas Maduro. The rally was organized by hardline opposition members, who refuse to take part in the talks. The dialogue has been held under the supervision of the foreign ministers of Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador, as well the Vatican's diplomatic envoy in Venezuela. Nearly 40 people have been killed and hundreds injured during violent protests in Venezuela so far.
