It was reported recently that Mickey Rooney only had about $18,000 when he died, but according to a source, he may be worth more dead than alive.
According to this insider, Mickey's stepson Mark could stand to make millions through endorsement deals, saying:
"Mickey named his stepson, Mark, along with his wife as the sole beneficiaries of his estate…This includes using Mickey’s name and/or likeness in the future. In Mickey’s will, he specifically stated that no one from his family, including wife Jan, or any of his eight children, could profit off his name. This was left to Mark…Although Mark isn’t currently seeking endorsement deals or possible products to align Mickey’s name to at this point, it’s something that will definitely be looked into."
It's no secret Megan Fox and Michael Bay have had their differences in the past when they worked together on the Transformers franchise.
But now that they've set their conflicts aside, the two teamed up again for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and now the actress has nothing but great things to say about Michael, saying:
"He was one of the most lovely people that I dealt with in making this movie. I’ve always loved Michael. We’ve had our battles in the past but even when I’ve been really outspoken about difficulties we’ve had, I’ve always followed up by saying that I have a particular affinity to him."
While Johnny Depp was enjoying his Transcendence premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday, he was rudely interrupted to be subpoenaed. Apparently, a woman named Nancy Lekon was arrested in 2009 for driving her limo through Skid Row in downtown L.A., hitting a pedestrian, dragging her for a mile, and ultimately killing her. And apparently Depp had something to do with it, according to Miz Lekon. Lekon is pleading insanity in her murder trial this month, and says that she was in the area to meet up with Johnny because they were dating. Likely, the 50-year-old actor will say that he simply doesn’t know the woman.
The Purple One doesn't make the trek out to Coachella for just any performance ... but when it's rap duo Outkast reuniting after 8 years, Prince makes an exception. Big Boi and Andre 3000 headlined night one of the annual concert -- performing their biggest hits like " Bombs Over Baghdad " and " So Fresh, So Clean ." Halfway through the gig Andre got all fanboy when he couldn't resist telling the crowd his idol Prince was watching from the side of the stage. It's pretty cool to see him so humbled. Hootie hoo!
