Ecuadorian natives protest Amazon oil drilling

Hundreds of Ecuadorians are marching through the capital Quito to protest oil drilling in the Yasuni National Park, which is part of the Amazon.
It's home to Ecuador's largest oil fields, but also some of the world's most diverse wildlife.
(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) ALICIA CAUILLA, A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE WAORANI INDIAN SAYING:
"Of course the oil is important to the government but the people that live in the jungle need to live a clean and healthy life. That is why we are here. The children of our children, where will they live?"
The protesters marched to the Ecuadorian National Counsel and presented a petition with thousands of signatures, demanding there be no drilling in the park.
Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa says there could be an estimated $22 million made, and be used to fight poverty in the country.
