Spaniards have taken to the streets in the capital Madrid to protest against police violence.
The demonstrators held banners and condemned police violence at a large anti-austerity protest in the Spanish capital last month. On March 22, hundreds of thousands of people rallied in Madrid against poverty and EU-imposed austerity. The protest was later marred by violent clashes in which police fired rubber bullets at stone-throwing protesters. Over a dozen people were arrested in the clashes.
