How To Record Audio Using Adobe Audition & Audacity

How to use Adobe Audition and Audacity to record audio. Simple set up and easy to do. This is a basic intro into recording audio using the Adobe Audition and Audacity software. More advanced tutorials will be released.

NOTE: In Adobe Audition you do not have to use multitrack to record audio, you can create a new audio file, and as long as your audio hardware is set up correctly, begin recording. Using multitrack to record audio allows multiple takes and the ability to layer your recordings.
When recording audio on a single track the meter is not activated by default. To activate the audio meter click VIEW, METERING, then METER INPUT SIGNAL.
