    With XP Support A Thing Of The Past, Many Of America's ATM's Face Increased Security Risks

    Starting today, many of America's ATM's are flying without a safety net. That’s because Microsoft has officially ended tech support for Windows XP, the 12-year-old operating system it's been trying desperately to bid farewell. The problem: As of earlier this year, XP was still running on an estimated 95% of American ATMs. And without Microsoft’s security updates or patches, hackers can target holes and weaknesses, potentially putting customers at risk.
