Texas A&M linebacker Darian Claiborne arrested for weed in hood ornament

A promising Texas A&M freshman linebacker was arrested this past Sunday on drug possession charges.

Middle linebacker Darian Claiborne was riding in his friend's SUV somewhere in Brazos County, Texas. They were pulled over because the truck didn't have a front plate.

When the cop approached Claiborne, he noticed the strong scent of marijuana. The officer frisked Claiborne, but turned up nothing. However, when searching the vehicle, deputies found a large Hershey's Kisses ornament where the contraband was stashed.

Claiborne, a starter for the Aggies, was arrested on two counts of misdemeanor drug possession and has been benched for the rest of the season. This means he won't travel to Atlanta for the Chick-Fil-A bowl, possibly hindering A&M's chances of winning three bowl games in a row for the first time ever.
