In all fairness this one carries a disclaimer. The first season of Heroes was actually very good and quickly became a TV phenomenon onto itself...and then the finale happened. I've seen very few shows manage to make this big of a mess out of something that was truly the golden child of its fall freshman class. Yet after the penultimate first season episode, the show began to creatively spiral out of control and then eventually the ratings did as well. For as good as the first season was at times that was as bad as the rest of the show turned out to be. NBC's looking to reboot the show in 2015 using a new cast which paired with the nostalgia factor will likely end up working in its favor, but while fans may forgive, they aren't going to forget.
