The Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan inaugurated the Command & Control Centre at the office of the Site Association.
He told the media that more than 1,000 closed-circuit television cameras would be installed in various parts of the city to improve the law and order situation. Ebad said 145 cameras were installed in Site Area in the first phase.
Site Association Chairman Younus M Bashir informed the governor that the cameras installed in Site Area would cover an area of 15 kilometers, recording the movement of vehicles, their registration plates and the faces of the drivers.
