Red Sox right fielder Shane Victorino has been sent back to Boston to have his right hamstring examined, leaving his status for Monday's opener in doubt. He accompanied the team to Baltimore over the weekend, but left for Boston on Sunday to receive an MRI. Manager John Farrell said Victorino would also receive ''a full workup and exam'' on Monday morning. Farrell said the outfielder could return to Baltimore in time for Monday's 3 o'clock game - if he is not placed on the disabled list.
