    US mudslide death toll poised to rise

    Seventeen people are confirmed dead in the Washington State mudslide and a further eight bodies have yet to be identified. More than 80 people are still missing, but rescue workers say it's now unlikely to find survivors under the rubble. But environmentalists have been warning for years that the region is vulnerable to this kind of disaster. Al Jazeera's John Hendren reports from Darrington in the state of Washington.
