The air search for the missing Malaysian flight MH370 in remote seas off west Australia continues on Friday, seeking to confirm satellite sightings of possible debris from the missing jet.
At least five aircraft spotted multiple objects of various colors during Friday's search, Australian maritime authorities said.
The news development came after the Australian authorities shift the focus of the search to an area 1,100 kilometers northeast of where planes had been looking for, based on a new, "credible" lead.
The plane, with 239 people on board, is believed to have crashed into the southern Indian Ocean, after disappearing from civilian radar nearly three weeks ago, during a routine flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
