    Beef Prep Tips: Prepare It Quickly

    It would be a shame if you spent all this time picking your favorite cut, choosing the right thickness, and safely transporting it home only to leave it in the fridge until it spoils. For good measure, you don't want to keep your beef in the fridge for more than 4 days before you prepare it. If it looks like you're not going to be able to cook it up in time for any reason, play it safe and put it in the freezer right away. If you do end up freezing your beef though, make sure to let it thaw in the refrigerator and not out in the open on the counter.
