A bus driver in Benton Township, Pennsylvania has been accused of driving under the influence. What makes the case even more troubling is that the driver was allegedly on duty at the time of the incident.

Police have filed charges of reckless driving and DUI against Jennifer Watson.

"She got so confused that school officials say that Watson got spun around and started driving her morning route. She stopped several times at places
where she's supposed to pick up kids and then she ultimately brought them all back to school." [WKRC]

A few of the children went up front to talk to Watson and informed her they had already gone to school and needed to go home.

She refused to accept that as the truth and continued her trip back to the school. Fortunately she got all the students there safely.

The kids later said they smelled alcohol on Watson’s breath. They also claimed she cursed, yelled and swerved all over the road.

Police were at the school when she pulled up. Watson denied drinking but instead blamed her bizarre behavior on gin soaked raisins, which she eats for headaches.

The Benton Area School District immediately sent a letter home to all parents notifying them of the incident.
