ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

China's National Space Administration (CNSA) released a satellite image of what could be debris of the missing Malaysia Airlines plane which disappeared off the radar two weeks ago, carrying 239 people onboard.

According to a notice posted on website of State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence (SASTIND) on Saturday, the image was taken around around 12:00 p.m. (0400GMT) on March 18 by China's Gaofen-1 satellite in an area of the southern Indian Ocean.

The suspected floating object was about 120km from the site where Australia said they had seen possible debris and where a massive but inconclusive search operation has been underway.

SASTIND also said the object spotted by Chinese satellite measured 22 meters length and 13 meters in width.
