Drilling through wood and you hit a nail! Under most circumstances that would be the end of that drill bit but the Irwin Blue Groove Power range will let you drill straight through the metal as well! We were a little upset that the packaging "infers" that this drill bit will also go through screws but it wont. It will manage nails which are a softer steel though and it is usually nails that are hidden in the timber.
