Rhodiola Rosea has been sold and marketed as a cure for a broad swath of medical issues such as cancer, anxiety, flu, the common cold, and migraines. Most of these claims however are entirely without merit. There is only one thing that Rhodiola has been studied and verified with any accuracy, and that's a reduction in fatigue. But that in and of itself is certainly interesting enough to warrant consideration. Seven independent studies in Examine's database all showed a notable decrease in fatigue following supplementation. There is evidence that Rhodiola might also be helpful in combating stress and depression, but more consensus is needed before a judgement call can be made.
