Putin rubber stamps Crimea, Russia storms the region's naval headquarters

Signs once written in Ukrainian, are being replaced with Russian in Crimea after it voted to join Russia over the weekend.

Now, Russian Putin President Vladimir Putin is telling his government to raise pensions for Crimeans.

(SOUNDBITE) (Russian) RUSSIAN PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN, SAYING:

"It is up to you to decide how you are going to do it. You and the Duma State deputies have to think it through and do it, and please do not procrastinate. Do it as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, this Ukrainian Navy captain in Crimea is walking out.
