ROUGH CUT (NO NARRATION)

Iconic rock bands Kiss and Def Leppard announced a joint tour on Monday (March 17), which will kick off this summer on June 23. The tour will launch as Kiss celebrates its 40th year in music, and will stop in over 40 locations across North America. During the announcement, both bands exchanged comments of mutual admiration for their contributions to rock and roll, but at the same time, they also agreed that the true motivation for the tour was the fans. During an interview with Reuters, Simmons also imparted some wisdom to younger musicians, saying that they should simply play what they feel and forget about the current trends. The joint tour will begin on Monday, June 23 in West Valley City, Utah. Tickets go on sale starting Friday, March 21.
