Negotiators from Iran and the P5+1 group sit down for fresh nuclear talks in the Austrian capital Vienna.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton have already held a meeting. Ashton's spokesman has said the meeting was constructive. Zarif has said that the talks will focus on uranium enrichment inside Iran, the Arak heavy water reactor and nuclear cooperation. The talks in Vienna are part of efforts by Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany to hammer out a comprehensive deal. The agreement will be based on a joint plan of action reached between the two sides in November.
