Vanguard Princess, on its face, looks like a fairly detailed 2D fighting game, incorporating a 1.5-per-side system of main and support fighters undertaking a heroic quest. And that's the majority of what we have to go on, because the translation and localization of Vanguard Princess tends to run a bit features-light.
